Dream Interpreter please?

I had a dream there was a golden dog sitting near my feet, looking away from me and I was very happy. Then another dog came along, identical to the other, and sat down next to the first dog. I then picked up the second dog because they were so beautiful and I love dogs but it bit me on the hand. With the dog still in my arms, I thought twice about striking it because I knew I shouldn't but in the end I did. I don't remember all the details but I think I might got a knife and slit it's throat. I feel really horrible and I think this dream definitely has some symbolic meanings. I'd really like to know what it means
