Lebanese weddings?

Hi, I am very curious, are lebanese only allowed to marry their own kind? I can say I am deeply in love with one, but he will go on vacation to get engaged are these like fix weddings, or are they able to break the tradittion or culture, help dont know what to do? We have a lot of eye contact when we say Hi, but the attraction I feel for him it's much different than saying hi to any regular guy at work, I actually look forward to see him, and I keep on telling my self, he's my co-worker and nothing else, but truhtly I can not help my self. Anything will help me at this point. Thanks.
