What is in 7 up that gives me these results? FOR SMART SCIENTISTS!?

for my science fair i chose 4 liquids, water lemonade 7 up and root beer, then i put a jolly rancher in each liquid and let it sit for 5 minutes, i found that from an average 7 up took the most m out of a liquid over 5 minutes, why?PLEASE HLP!
