Can I get a medical professional's opinion? Or anyone's opinion on what I should do..?
When I was younger I had a surgery done to drop my testicles. I had this done once when I was a baby and again when I was 8. I'm now 17 and my right testicle hasn't dropped but my left has. We don't have health insurance so I can't get the surgery done to drop the testicle (the surgery costs around $6000). Aside from the fact that I let this be a weight to prevent me from being in a relationship, I think I might be a candidate for testicular cancer now. Symptoms and causes for testicular cancer include: 1) Frequent pain in the testicles (this can come and go) 2) Males with a recessed testicle are more likely to have testicular cancer in one testicle or the other 3) Lumps on or around the testicle itself 4) And different sizes in the nipple or pectoral areas (meaning one nipple is bigger or smaller than the other one). Can anyone tell me what I should do? I want to go see a doctor but I don't have any way to. A urologist costs $250 to go to and my single mother is struggling from time to time with money. We have applied to some health insurance places but haven't heard back from them in almost a month. I'm afraid that if I wait too long to get this problem fixed it will be too late and the problem will be much more difficult to fix...
