Questions about the new Droid X?

Ive always had AT&T, but in time, little by little, ive grown to despise AT&T, they epically fail in all areas, phones, coverage, internet etc.....All my friends have Verizon and i have heard nothing but good things about Verizon. We all know the new Droid X just came out and i have been thinking about getting it for a while, but i just wanted to know before i spent the money, what makes it better than the other new smart phones that are out there? like Droid x's brother the HTC droid incredible, the 4G sprint EVO, and the new iPhone 4. My friend is a BIG fanboy of Droid and a droid geek, and he tells me i should deffinitely go for the Droid X, and then he told me, "Goodluck getting a contract", and he said its hard to get the Droid X because of the contract and that i should have a co-signer. So, whats so good about the new Droid X? I know it has a 4.3 inch screen, which is HUGE! lol. And an 8mp camera, which is also alot!lol.
