Is my little brother depressed?

He is 23 lives at home and has another year to finish uni.he just stayed at home on his year out but got a grant.he has a better car than me,more money etc..now my dad paid alot to buying me a new house.i move in next week it is fab.today my brother was tearful,crying to mom about how he lost his bankcard and couldn't get money out,how life is so unfair.then he announced he should have access to my house,will have my pool table in the back room,and when he comes out of uni,might buy the house and rent it out to me...then where do i live?? why is he like this?? mom and dad are already leaving him our family house.help
